Pallacanestro Olimpia EA7 Emporio Armani Milano and Alessandro Gentile decided to extend the current contract until June 30, 2018. The next will be the fifth season in Milano for Gentile, the third as the team’s Captain, the youngest in club history. Gentile has been named Best Young player of the Italian League in 2014 just before being named Mvp of the playoffs while leading the team to the title. He’s the All-Time fourth best playoffs scorer in the club history.

THE CAP – Alessandro Gentile, born in Maddaloni on November 12, 1992, is the youngest son of former Olimpia’s Captain and Hall of Famer, Nando Gentile. He’s played for the Maddaloni team, Virtus Bologna and Treviso before moving to Milan in 2011. He was drafted by Houston in 2014 and won a silver european medal with the Under 20 Italian National team. He’s part of the National Team for the 2015 European Championship.
