James Nunnally scored 25 points, added seven assists and was instrumental in leading Olimpia to a commanding 92-76 win over Avellino that closed the best-of-five series in its favor. Olimpia took control of the game early and never relinquished it. Avellino didn’t give up, attempted a couple of rally and came back within five in the second half, but was never threatening. Kaleb Tarczewski was at his dominating best in the first half, before foul troubles made his life miserable in the second half, when Chris Burns gave the team a lift with his all-energy game. Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Nemanja Nedovic scored in double figure, too. Nedovic was finally efficient, shooting threes in several clutch moments. The game was never really close. Olimpia qualified for the semifinals for the sixth consecutive season. The opponent will be Sassari, game 1 is scheduled for the next Wednesday.
