It was a regular season for the ages in the EuroLeague and for many different reasons, some of them because of personal highs or milestones reached by individual players. Here we have the recap, right before approaching Game 1 of the EuroLeague playoffs on Tuesday night.
0 KEVIN PUNTER
Kevin Punter was the Round 29 Co-MVP (along Peyton Siva from Alba Berlin), He is the ninth Olimpia player to get this award after Mike Hall (2008/09), Omar Cook (2011/12), Curtis Jerrells (2013/14), Samardo Samuels and Alessandro Gentile (2014/15) and – since the current format has been in place – Jamel McLean in 2015/16 (vs Efes); Ricky Hickman in 2016/17 (vs Maccabi); Mike James in 2018/19 (vs Olympiacos). In a game won over Olympiacos, Punter set his personal bests for points (27), rating (33), minutes on the court (33), three-pointers (five) and assists (five). In Moscow, when Olimpia defeated CSKA, he improved his high by scoring 32 points, the third-best outing for an Olimpia player, behind Samardo Samuels’ 36 in Nizhny Novogorod in 2015 and Mike James’ in Madrid in 2019. He tied Luca Vitali’s 32 points scored in 2008 in Athens, vs Panionios. In Belgrade, Punter tied his high in terms of three-pointers made in a single game with five, using the same number of attempts (nine). He scored in double-figure 24 times out of 29 and 26 times he made at least one three.
2 ZACH LEDAY
The four three-pointers made by Zach LeDay in Belgrade are a personal-best. During his career he had never made more than three threes in the same game. With 30 made threes, he has had more three-pointers than in his previous two EuroLeague seasons combined (23). His 12-for-12 from the line in the Milan game vs CSKA tied a club-record for most free throws made with no misses in one game that was set by Luca Vitali. The record for most free throws made belong to Danilo Gallinari with 13. LeDay was the seventh-best three-point shooters in the league at 48.2 percent.
5 VLADO MICOV
Vlado Micov is actually the EuroLeague Olimpia’s leading scorer, with more than 1.000 points scored. Including the FIBA’s era, Micov is second overall behind Bob McAdoo. He is now 100 points behind. He’s also the second-best Serbian scorer in the EuroLeague and the first for games played with 239. He’s also surpassed 100 games played for Olimpia in the EuroLeague, the second ever to clear that barrier after Kaleb Tarczewski. He ha salso grabbed more than 700 EuroLeague rebounds for his career.

9 RICCARDO MORASCHINI
During the Madrid game, a big win over Real, Moraschini grabbed 10 rebounds, all of them taken under the defensive glass, a career-high for him.
10 MICHAEL ROLL
Michael Roll has completed his fourth straight season out of four, shooting over 40 percent from three-point range.
13 SERGIO RODRIGUEZ
His 37 points of index rating in the Milan game vs Real Madrid were a career-high for Sergio Rodriguez and the second-best outing for an Olimpia player behind the 47 scored by Samardo Samuels in Nizhny Novgorod, during the 2014/15 season. In 2019, Mike James aldo had 37 in Madrid, but in a losing effort. The 25 points that Chacho scored in that same game were the second-best scoring outing of his EuroLeague career behind a 26-point effort with CSKA Moscow against Khimki in 2018. Sergio surpassed the 3.000-point barrier during the Milan game vs Maccabi and was the 8th player to reached that plateau. He is now 7th in all-time list after surpassing Felipe Reyes. He is also 4th overall for three-pointers made with 482, 18 threes shy of 500. He has 1.386 assists for his career, third-best all time, and in the same category he is already the best-ever for Olimpia. He has 292 games played in the EuroLeague, 9th-best overall.
15 KALEB TARCZEWSKI
Kaleb Tarczewski has become the first player in history to play more than 100 EuroLeague games for Olimpia. During this season, he surpassed the 700-point and 500-rebound barrier for his career. Obviously, all those milestones have been reached with Olimpia.

23 MALCOLM DELANEY
During the Khimki game in Milan, Malcolm Delaney surpassed 500 assists for his EuroLeague career. During the season, he had a streak of at least one three made in 20 consecutive games. Besides, he made in Tel Aviv the winning shot that sealed the first club win on that court since 1987.
31 SHAVON SHIELDS
Shavon Shields set his new career-high in points scored when he had 26 on the road vs Khimki. The previous high was 22 and had been obtained against the same opponent. In that game, he had 34 points of index rating, another career-high. He has an active streak of 12 consecutive games with double-digit scoting. His 13.5 points per game, his 57.2 percent from two and 44.9 percent from three are all career bests.
32 JEFF BROOKS
During the win in Belgrade he surpassed the 700 points scored for his career, the 500 rebounds grabbed and the 300 rebounds grabbed while playing for Olimpia.

42 KYLE HINES
Kyle Hines has become the seventh player in history to play at least 300 EuroLeague games, but the first American to do so. Among Americans, behind his 314 appearances, there are Jaycee Carroll from Real Madrid with 269 and James Gist from Bayern Munich with 264. Hines is sitting now in sixth place after surpassing Nikos Zisis and his 310 games played. He is also second all-time for blocked shots behind Bryant Dunston from Efes. In Barcelona, he surpassed the 1.000 two-pointers for his career and is now third all-time. Hines is second all-time for offensive rebounds, behind Felipe Reyes, and fifth for total rebounds. Finally, he surpassed 2.500 points scored for his career and now he is 13th all-time.
70 GIGI DATOME
Gigi Datome tied his career-high for points scored in one single game when he had 27 against Valencia. He had 27 in 2015 when he was playing for Fenerbhace in a game vs Red Star. It was his sixth game with 20 or more points scored. Datome finished the regular season second in the league in three-point shooting behind Kyle Kuric from Barcelona. Against Olympiacos, he reached 300 threes made during his career. Against Fenerbhce he surpassed the 2.000 points barrier. He has appeared in 235 EuroLeague games, and he is now first among the Italian players. He is the second Italian all-time scorer behind Gianluca Basile.
