It had only a couple a good moment, especially late in the third quarter when Ricky Hickman, in spite of playing with four fouls, tried to get the team back in contention. Olimpia closed the gap within three points but didn’t have the energy, the defense and the execution to complete it. In the end, it was a very bad loss even because the margin, 21 points in 100-79 rout. Olimpia played without Alessandro Gentile, because of back spams, but Kazan played without Anton Ponkrashov. The level of focus and energy was higher. Kazan controlled all the 50-50 balls, Olimpia was in submission mode and lost.
