For the first time in his career, Mike James was named today EuroLeague’s MVP of the month. This award was given to him for the month of February when Olimpia won all its four games. It is also the first time that a Olimpia player wins the award. The prize was created for the first time before the 2004/05 season. Nobody has ever won it four times, four players have won it three times (Vassilis Spanoulis, Nando De Colo, Juan Carlos Navarro and Ante Tomic). This season before James, the award went to Walter Tavares (Real Madrid) for October, Vasilje Micic (Efes) for November, Jan Vesely (Fenerbahce) for December and Alex Tyus (Maccabi) for January. During the month of February, James scored 75 points in 4 games, went 21/35 from two, 24/31 from the line, he grabbed 15 rebounds and distributed 18 assists.

At the same time, Olimpia Milano Tv has dedicated the seventh episode of its “All-Access OLIMPIA” series to Mike James and his EuroLeague season, chronicling it from the day of its arrival in Milan until his last performances.
