Fenerbahce won the game 98-77 but the final score was a huge lie because Olimpia played a tough game and for almost 37 minutes was in contention. With minutes left was capable to comeback within six, 75-69 but the first half was huge and the third quarter, also. Fenerbahce with its depth and consistency, its physicality was capable to keep its toughness right up to the end and won with a margin that condemned Olimpia was beyond its guilt. MarShon Brooks scored 21 points and Alessandro Gentile had a huge 19-point game but mostly Olimpia was able to control the boards and keep the lead or stay close. Three times it was up by at least five points and never gave up or stopped playing. Plagued by foul trouble (three by Ragland in the first half, four by Hackett and Samuels in the third when it was still up in the score), being forced to play with no point guards in two different spurts, Olimpia was killed by the big men (Vesely, Savas, Bjelica) and by a great shooting night by Bogdan Bogdanovic, especially attacking the middle.
