With a great defensive game (David Logan was held to zero points), changing a little bit the players’ rotations in the second half to ride the ones with more energy, Olimpia won game 2, 84-71 tying up the semifinal series against Sassari at 1 apiece. Alessandro Gentiles scored 25 points, tying his playoff-high, but he wasn’t the only one to play a terrific game. Don’t forget, David Moss – his 18 points are a seson-high -, Daniel Hackett had all-around game including 7 assists and Samardo Samuels was amazing in the paint, adding 12 rebounds to his 14 points. In the second half, Coach Banchi modified the rotation, he used Bruno Cerella to spell the guards, Tabu to alleviate Hackett’s burden and Elegar to spell Samuels while playing also with only one big while Nicolò Melli had 25 of plus/minus. The series will resume on Tuesday in Sassari
