Coach Jasmin Repesa was satisfied with Olimpia’s effort in the 1p4-70 rout of Pistoia. “It’s been the game I wanted to see. A good approach, a lot of good running, everybody played extended minutes and nobody got hurt. After a EuroLeague week upsets are popping up everywhere but we stayed focused, we respected Pistoia and won convincingly. Fontecchio and Abass, we signed them with one goal only and that was to turn them into real EuroLeague players. I’m sticking with the plan. They both work hard in practice. Today I told Fontecchio that I was going to play him. No matter what. He responded. Abi was less focused than he normally is and didn’t play up to his ability. But he’s working hard too”.
