Olimpia is playing tomorrow at 8.45 pm its last regular season home game against Panathinaikos Athens. With a win it would clinch a berth in the Top 16. This is what Coach Luca Banchi had to say after practice: “The Panathinaikos game will be extremely difficult. In the last meeting they showed they can establish their athleticism, physicality, talent and experienced. For us it’s an opportunity to qualify, in the best possible way, before our fans. It’s a mid-season goal but very prestigious and we want to produce the greatest effort to achieve it”.
Alessandro Gentile: “The Panathinaikos game is obviously a very difficult one but at the same time we are very motivated. Our goal is to take revenge against a team that in Athens was capable to hurt us a lot. Since then we made strides. Now, more than anything else, it’s an opportunity to understand where we are at, compared to the Euroleague best teams”
