Olimpia is going to Moscow where tomorrow (at 6.00 pm, Italian time) will face CSKA Moscow in the seventh round of the Euroleague Top 16. The team is leaving without Alessandro Gentile and Shawn James, left back in Milano to recover from the injuries they suffered last week. This is what Coach Luca Banchi had to say: “We face one of the most impressive team of the year. CSKA Moscow was capable to win 15 games in a row in this competition. They suffered the very first Euroleague loss last week in Athens so they’ll play with a strong desire of revenge to take back the first position in the standing. Games like this are a big opportunity to force ourselves to play beyond our own limits in order to compete against the best teams in Europe”.
