Vladimir Micov had a memorable week on a roller-coaster ride. First, he scored 28 points against Trento, setting his new personal best in the Italian League. Then, he moved to Kaunas and had a subpar performance, didn’t score and saw his streak of 14 game with a three-pointer made come to an end. Eventually he bounced back very strong, scoring 27 points against Valencia and setting another personal best, this time in the EuroLeague competition. His index rating of 34 was another career high. His two records replaced the ones he set with Galatasaray ironically in a game against Milan, last season (27 of index rating and 23 points).

In spite of being a great shooter (his career average is above 42 percent), Micov is not a typical scorer. He has just five EuroLeague games with 20 or more points, two when he played for CSKA Moscow and two more with Galatasaray. The seven threes that he made (he was five for five in the third period) were another all-time best.

Micov is averaging 10.8 points per game on 44.2 percent three-point shooting in the EuroLeague. He has started 25 games out of 26.
