Olimpia took control early in the re-match of last year playoffs’ final against Reggio Emilia in Bologna, built a 17-point lead early in the second qurter and looked completely comfortable in its own skins. Then all the hell broke loose. Reggio Emilia strated to score right and left, inside and outside and Olimpia stopped to execute the game plan, both defensively and offensively, rushing shots and getting back late on defense. The run was terrible, Olimpia went in six minutes from 17 up to 5 down at halftime. The second half was a battle but Reggio Emilia led much of the contest while Olimpia didn’t sustain its offense with the defense, which was mostly terrible. In the end, it lost 91-87.
