It was a special event last Sunday in Mediolanum Forum. The game was attended by our great legend Arthur Kenney, accompanied by his family, and then there were two players on the court that share with him their college days, at Fairfield. Our own Rakim Sanders and the combo-guard from Reggio Emilia, Derek Needham. The reunion inspired a picture taken before the game.

The Fairfield coach is another former Olimpia player, Sidney Johnson. His team finished the season 16-14 and 11-9 in the MAAC. Sanders played one season for him averaging 16.6 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game. Kenney is a member of the Fairfield Basketball Hall of Fame.
