A disappointing night shut the door down for any chance to get into the post-season: Virtus Bologna prevailed 90-70 over Milan. Olimpia never had a chance in Bologna, fell down 9-2 after the first field goal scored by Freddie Gillespie and after that never posed a serious threat. Bologna extended the lead consistently, 13 points after the first quarter, 15 after the second – a three-point made by Zach LeDay following two three made by Nico Mannion and the same LeDay shrank the deficit to ten points: it was the only time Olimpia had some kind of momentum -, while the second half was meaningless. Virtus kept pushing, scoring and dominating. Olimpia surrendered especially after Shavon Shields went out with an injury.
