A 17-point this quarter deficit and even a right thigh injury that sidelined a great Andrew Goudelock were not enough. Olimpia played with a lot of heart, desire and a tough defense in the second half to get a memorable two-overtime come-from-behind win in Valencia. In the process Olimpia scored 103 points, two points shy of the EuroLeague team-record and Curtis Jerrells celebrated già return scoring a career-best 30 points when he had to make up also for Goudelock injury. But Olimpia played a terrific overall game with a lot of poise and in the end the offensive flow necessary to produce a 18-point second overtime and resist when Valencia responded to three triples with the same weapon early in the overtime or when it kept going to the line. It was a great team effort and a deserved win because when it lost Goudelock, Olimpia was also without Dairis Bertans.
