After an opening lay-up scored by Cremona’s guard Aljami Durham, Olimpia embarked on a 13-0 run that essentially closed the game off very early. Cremona was able to come back withing two at the beginning of the second period but never had momentum. Olimpia had another 7-0 run and kept the opponent at a distance. It was a beautiful win, 86-67, because everybody helped. On top of it, Olimpia attempted to reinsert on the team Josh Nebo and Leandro Bolmaro while allowing playing time to Ousmane Diop and Stefano Tonut. Every single one of them responded. Tonut for example made two threes during the 13-0 run that directed the game. Ousmane Diop was a presence in the middle, speling Josh Nebo, with 10 and four rebounds in 16 minutes on the court. Leandro Bolmaro struggled as a scorer but was all over the floor. And finally Josh Nebo was his usual self. He had six points (going 3-for-3 from the field) but more than anything else he dominated the boards with 10 rebounds grabbed, five were offensive and generated precious second chances for his shooters. Olimpia led by more than twenty points late in the game. After closing the first half up by seventeen, increased the lead early in the third. The fourth quarter was garbage time essentially. Armoni Brooks led all the scorers with 21 points, 4-for-8 from three-point range, in 22 minutes.
