Olimpia prevailed over Buducnost after an exciting shootout 111-94. In the process a new club record for most points scored in a EuroLeague game was set. With no Nedovic and no Brooks, a late scratch, Olimpia approached the game with the correct sense of urgency, building a consistent lead early. Buducnost never came within less than a nine-point deficit. Olimpia scored in each of the first eight possessions feeding off the incredible energy shown by Kaleb Tarczewski who played with a broken hand. Mindaugas Kuzminskas broke the game in halves with a dominating 14-point first period. He made four consecutive threes. Than Olimpia had something from everybody. Mike James had a 8-assist night, Curtis Jerrells had a 8-point fourth quarter that was necessary to keep Buducnost away. Arturas Gudaitis had a double double game and earned 13 trips to the line. A 2-point first half by Vlado Micov was followed by a superior 18-point outing in the second including some impressive defensive plays.
