Another big accomplishment for Olimpia’s President Livio Proli who has been named Executive of The Year, the award named after the great Italian manager Gianluigi Porelli to reward the best manager of the last Euroleague season. Under Livio Proli’s wing, Olimpia reached the quarterfinals for the first time since 1997, won eight consecutive games in the Top 16, its coach Luca Banchi was the second most-voted of the year and the club made incredible strides in terms of attendance jumping to an average of 8700 spectators per game.

Livio Proli is 49, is the Armani Group general manager and Olimpia’s President since 2008. He led the team to four trips to the Italian league finals, won the Italian championship last month and the club was rewarded by the Euroleague with an A-license.
