Too many injuries and a very limited rotations at all the perimeter positions affected Olimpia badly in Pistoia. Turnovers, defebse and a bad shooting night were the principal causes of a 85-74 loss but the bottom line is clear. Olimpia at its fourth game in eight nights dealing with five absences couldn’t do much but fighting. Besides Pistoia is a very dangerous home team. Now 10-2 playing in its building. Mantas Kalnietis had to pull out late in the game with a minir setback from his previous injury and Jamel McLean had to deal with a wrist injury too. Just to aggravate the situation. The good news was Kaleb Tarczewski outing. He started the game, committed two early fouls and didn’t return in the first half. But the second appearances was very promising. He attacked the rim, made 3 of 4 foul shots and was generally very active. “I’m very satisfied by his game. We need to help him creating a couple of plays for him, because he’s a great roller. The chemistry calls for the floor to be opened. He’also our only player capable to play over the rim”, Coach Repesa said at the end.
