The quartefinals series will require one more game, to be played on Tuesday in the Mediolanum Forum, at 8.30 pm. Olimpia lost in Pistoia 84-82, surrendering a 16-point lead at halftime during the second half. It was more or less what happened in game 3, but Pistoia had a great shooting half especially with the guards. Brad Wanamaker (5/5 from three) and Kyle Gibson. Gibson scored the go-ahead three-pointer in the last minute. Olimpia led most of the game, had an exceptional first half because of a magnificent Keith Langford and a solid defense. Pistoia was back in full mode in the second half, took advantage of an early foul-penalty and of three technicals and a flagrant foul called on Gani Lawal when Curtis Jerrells had just scored the three-pointer extending the lead to eight again and Olimpia looked again in control. There was also the ejection of Alessandro Gentile (and Deron Washington) while the technical called on Melli was a misunderstanding because the player was responding to a coach reprimand, not talking the referee. However, the final score was 84-82 and game 5 is just about to start.
