Pallacanestro Olimpia EA7 Emporio Armani Milano agreed on a 2-year contract with Shawn James, coming from Maccabi Tel Aviv.
WHO IS JAMES – A 2.08 Center, Born on September 10, 1983 in Brooklyn, New York, James attended the Notre Dame Prep School in Finchburg,  Massachusetts, then The Notheastern University setting in 2006 the All-Time record in shots blocked averaging 6.53 per game. Eventually he moved to Duquesne and during his last season there He averaged 4.00 blocks per game. He was undrafted in the 2008 NBA draft and started his professional career in Israel playing for Bnei Hasharon and then moving to Maccabi Tel Aviv.
NOTES- He has won two Israelian championships in 2012 and 2014 and also the last Euroleague although an injury kept him from finishing the season. In 2013 he was named in the Euroleague second team.
