Two days after erasing a 17-point deficit to win a double overtime battle in Valencia, Olimpia’s Comeback Kids won 71-62 over Bamberg canceling a 11-point second half deficit thanks to an impressive, inspiring 19-0 run. When nothing worked on offense, with no Goudelock and a bad 3-point shooting night (at one point Olimpia was 1 for 10 and that was entirely the difference in the game), the defense took over just like in Valencia. With an almost never seen before line-up featuring Cinciarini, as a defensive ball-hawk, Kalnietis, Jerrells, Pascolo and Gudaitis, Olimpia started with the defense and finished with the offense, annihiliting the opponent. Bamberg was up 57-46 and looked pretty much in control. And suddenly Olimpia took over, getting the crowd involved in a very Olimpia-style win, with no heroes but many contributing players especially among the ones less employed so far.
