Pallacanestro Olimpia Milan has signed for three years Paul Biligha, a 2.00 mt. center, born on 31 May, 1990, in Perugia, coming from Umana Reyer Venezia. “Coming to Milan means that, step by step, I reached the top, a team with a winning culture and very demanding for the individuals. That’s what I needed to keep improving,” Biligha said. “We wanted Paul, because his athletic and moral skills will help our team immediately, and his motivation will allow him to keep improving and becoming a valuable part of our culture.”

HIS CAREER – Paul Biligha started to play in Cameroon, where he lived from age eight to 16, and eventually in Florence, when his family returned in Italy. Then he was acquired by the UCC Casalpusterlengo and later he also played in Verolanuova, Crema, Pavia. In 2012, he moved to Avellino where he played two seasons in Serie A before moving to Ferentino in A2. From 2015 to 2017 he was in Cremona for two seasons (in the second he averaged 11.0 points and 5.2 rebounds per game) and then another two in Venice, winning the Fiba Europe Cup in 2018 and the Italian championship in 2019. He also played a European Under 20 Championship with the Italian national team in 2010 and a European Championship in 2017, in Israel and Turkey

NOTES – Biligha’s parents are form Cameroon. During the 2017 European Championships he was coached by Ettore Messina. He made his National Team debut on July, 30, 2017 in Trento against Netherlands. He appeared in 31 National Team games.
