Giustino Danesi is the strenght and conditioning coach. Born in Teramo in 1967, a former hurdler (400 hs), Danesi is coming from Siena where he won three Italian league titles, three Italy Cups and two Supercups. He's won the championship in Milano on his first try. Then in 2015/16, he won also the Italy Cup working for head coach Jasmin Repesa.
HIS CAREER - Danesi began his career in Campli at 19. Eventually he worked in Montegranaro, Don Bosco Livorno, in Chieti with the women team, with the Teramo handball team, again in Livorno in 2000 when the head coach was Luca Banchi. In 2004 he returned to Montegranaro working under head coach Stefano Pillastrini. In his last season in Montegranaro his coach was Fabrizio Frates. In the summer of 2010 he moved to Siena where he stayed for three seasons.
NOTES - Danesi has been part of the National Team staff working with the Under 20 team in four different Under 20 Eurochiampionship editions... He speaks fluently English and Czech... He's coached Italian tennis player Gianluigi Quinzi... He has a law degree fron the Teramo University...
