Repesa wants to pay attention to transition defense in Istanbul

This is what Coach Jasmin Repesa had to say about the upcoming EuroLeague road game in Istanbul against Anadolu Efes: “We are playing much better now, it’s a shame we don’t have one or two more wins. There’s still a lot of basketball to play and the approach has to be the right one to get the best out of it. For us every game is huge. We are aware of that. Efes is the highest-scoring team off open court opportunities and offensive rebounds. We’ll need to stay disciplined and play hard for 40 minutes forcing them to play five on five in half court and confirm the high quality game we had in Madrid”.

Rakim Sanders spoke too: “We have improved a lot because of our hard work in practice particularly at the defensive end of the floor and in rebounding. In Istanbul we face a terrific team but in the EuroLeague every team is tough. We need to go out there and execute the plan”.
