Simone Pianigiani will make his Italian league second debut on Sunday in Cremona. His record so far is an impressive 225-28 in the league including a 166-22 record in regular season games. “Obviously Olimpia has to play to go to the distance and win. We have a completely revamped team and the path will be long. The EuroLeague season will make it much more exciting and at the same time exhausting, but it won’t keep us from consistently improving. Our goal is to have a more defined identity by February when the next trophy will be awarded and then in May for the playoffs. Everything we will trying to do, starting in Cremona on Sunday, will be done to peak, mentally and physically, for those events. Obviously, if we can hit the ground running and stay at the top right from the beginning will make everything less tough mentally and will create a healthy environment in the gym during the week”.
