Olimpia’s seventh win was almost a masterpiece in terms of sharing responsibilities and points. Olimpia took away with a 53-point second half on its way to a 92-78 triumph over Reggio Emilia. Five players scored in double digit and two more reached nine points. Olimpia struggled in the first period going 0 for 5 from three when Amedeo Della Valle made 10 quick points. Then gradually Olimpia found its rhytm and in the fourth was in full swing. “Playing against a solid Reggio Emilia team 48 hours after Bamberg was a difficult task but the guys did a helluva job against their zone and defensively made some great plays down the stretch. We shared points, minutes and responsibilities. I’d say it was a good night”, Coach Pianigiani said at the end.
