Olimpia played a tough game against Venezia, in spite of not being obviously in top shape. In the end it won because it wanted the win more, played with nore energy in the second half. Olimpia won 88-80, had a 20-point terrific game by Macvan, a lot of energy and toughness from Kaleb Tarczewski while Cinciarini finished the game strong, with a huge fourth quarter. Olimpia survived a 19-0 Reyer run that turned a 8-point lead into an 11-point deficit early in the second quarter. With the win Olimpia clinched the first-place in the regular season for the fourth consecutive year. “They are in better shape so winning was much more important not for the win itself but because it allows us to plan our work from now through the end of the regular season”, Coach Repesa said at the end.
