It was a 99-79 commanding win for Olimpia over Reggio Emilia in a very spectacular game played with attention and execution of high level. Olimpia shot the ball well from the arc converting 50% of its three-point shots, ran and was a nightmare as a fastbreaking team. Miro Raduljica had a dominating game in the middle scoring at will, drawing fouls and igniting a standing ovation when he left the game for good with 20 points scored. He wasn’t the only one to play well. Rakim Sanders was the first to lead, Kruno Simon had a 8-rebound and 6-assist game. It was a piece of beauty in spite of playing without Kalnietis and Macvan, a last-minute scratch. “Defensively it wasn’t a playoff kind of game but overall it was a very spectacular game. When we were able to defend and run we had moments of extremely enjoyable basketball. Raduljica? It’s a long story but basically his approach to working and defending now is good and early in the season wasn’t comparable to where it is since Tarczewski came aboard”, Coach Repesa said.
