Olimpia took control of the game early, scored 56 points in the first half and led by as many as twenty points early in the third, then managed to win 84-74. The second half was not as sharp, Olimpia scored just 28 points, slowed down by Khimki’s effort and zone defense that was able to lower the tempo of the game. In the end, Milan won its game number 17 of the season, got back on track, dominated the boards (Kyle Hines had a double double), dished 22 assists and made 11 threes on 41 percent long distance shooting. “We had a good game, then probably I dind’t help the team and I didn’t help by inserting so early in the third quarter Jeremy Evans. He didn’t know what to do and we didn’t know how to help him, so we lost some rhythm and complicated our life a little bit. But in the end it was a good win,” Coach Ettore Messina said at the end. “We weren’t as sharp as we wanted to be in the second half. We were better defensively, but they forced us into tough shots,” Shavon Shields said after a 17-point game. Gigi Datome added  15 points, going 4-for-5 from three, while Malcolm Delaney and Sergio Rodriguez combined to score 21 points and to dish 12 assists. Kaleb Tarczewski was also sharp. He scored 10 points, 5-for-7 from the field.

It was a historic night in some ways, because Vlado Micov appeared in the EuroLeague game number 100 for Olimpia, the second ever to reach the plateau after Kaleb Tarczewski did it earlier in the season. On the same night, Malcolm Delaney became the 35th player to dish 500 assists.
