It was a struggle, starting down by 12 but Olimpia found a way to overcome its nervousness, the difficulties, the injuries (Kruno Simon and Rakim Sanders were not available, Bruno Cerella was lots due to a hand injury lete in the first half) and won 88-84 over Pesaro. Five players scored in double figure, the youngsters gave a lot of energy, especially the not-so-young Davide Pascolo throughout the game. Pesaro had a fantastic game by Jarrod Jones, a power forward capable to score inside and outside. Olimpia took control with a 34-poiunt second quarter, extended the lead at 10 in the third then had a letdown and took some chances in the end. But it dominated the boards and used this kind of effort to go to the line repeatedly during the course of the game.
