Olimpia couldn’t take the last punch and lost 107-81

Olimpia took a series of punches, absorbed them, resisted and tried to mount a comeback. One, two and three times. Late in the third quarter Olimpia, pressing and fighting, after two huge threes by Bertans and Kuzminskas came within six and took the momentum. That  was when CSKA took away for good. The last punch was the decisive one and Olimpia gave up on its way to 107-81 loss. There were good signs anyway: Bertans is in great shape and right now he’s also a terrific threat from the perimeter; Amath M’Baye played his best overall game in a while and Kaleb Tarczewski put on a energy show setting his new personal best of 17 points.
