Olimpia controls the game, wins 91-54 over Capo d’Orlando

Olimpia controlled the game right from the beginning, never looked back and won convincingly 91-54 against Capo d’Orlando in spite of missing Jordan Theodore (flu) and Vlado Micov (left shoulder). Coach Pianigiani used Kuzminskas at the 3 position for the first time (“A solution now we can implement”, he said) and gave more time to Curtis Jerrells as a point-guard to spell a red-hot Andrea Cinciarini. Olimpia dominated the game: “We had to make sure they didn’t have any reason to think about making it a close game”, the Coach said at the end. The minutes were distributed almost equally, with Kaleb Tarczewski and Arturas Gudaitis doing huge damage in the paint. “I appreciated the personality we showed in making the game easy. Now we have a tough week ahead with a road game in Belgrade before one of the most impactful crowd in Europe and less than 48 hours we’ll play in Brindisi against a very improved team, capable to play even with Venezia on the road”, said Pianigiani.
