Eight clubs have been shortlisted for the annual One Team Awards, which recognize the great contributions made to their local communities by Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7DAYS EuroCup clubs. Among them, for the second consecutive year, Olimpia Milan. AX Armani Exchange Milan worked in partnership with Fondazione Laureus Sport for Good Italia Onlus for community cohesion. The club has been selected for its hard work in order to identify the right area to work in. Evaluated the children in a “play” session before designing the program, a good combination of social media and public relations to spread the message, the fundraising activated through Charity Stars and finally the recognition of wider community benefits are among the areas where Olimpia’s work has been appreciated.

Since its founding in 2012, the One Team program has already helped more than 19,000 participants through its various team-focused projects. Anadolu Efes, FC Barcelona, Kirolbet Vitoria, Olympiacos Piraeus, Zalgiris Kaunas, UNiacaja Malaga and Lokomotiv Kuban are the other finalists. The winners will be proclaimed during the month of September.
