It was a nightmare of a game. Panathinaikos had more energy, quickness, speed and confidence. After destroying Fenerbahce, it kept shooting like three-pointers were lay-ups. Olimpia tried to resist, came back within four points in the middle of the second period because of some good defensive possessions and back to back three-pointers by Joe Ragland and David Moss. But it was just a short period of time. Sharpness and rhytm were lost immediately, Panathinaikos started scoring again and the start of third quarter was crucial. Panathinaikos, up by 14 at the intermission, started with another 8-0 run. And it was over. Finally, Olimpia was punished by the score, too: 90-63. Samardo Samuels led the scorers with 18. Olimpia now has to play a decisive game versus Turow next week and again against Fenerbahce one week later.
