There are five Olimpia players, in next season roster, scheduled to take part in International competitions for National teams during the last portion of the summer. Alessandro Gentile, Angelo Gigli and Nicolò Melli are the three “biancorossi” representatives with the Italian National team, which will play in Slovenjia starting next Septmber 4th. Mario Fioretti, who’s a valuable member of the coaching staff, will be there too.

And that’s not all: Samardo Samuels will play from August 30 to September 11 at the Torunament of the Americas in Caracas, Venezuela, with a berth for the 2014 World Championship at the stake. Samuels plays for the Jamaican National team included in the same group with Brazil, Canada, Uruguay and Puerto Rico. CJ Wallace will play for the Democratic Republic of Congo August 20 to 31 at the African Championship in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Mali, Nigeria and Cameroon are the first three opponents. Congo didn’t qualify for the 2011 edition.
