32-year old center Marco Cusin realized his dream of coming to play for Olimpia Milan, while waiting to realize the second part of the same dream … to win. Here’s his interview with Olimpia Milano Tv.

Milan – “I hoped to play here soon or later, for the prestige of the club and because it’s a dream that I had since I was a kid. This dream has now been realized: I’m the happiest person in the world.”

Expectations – “I want to win something, then come back to play in the EuroLeague, this is also a dream come true for me. Playing against the best teams in Europe, against the best players in Europe, makes you step up as a player. It forces you to compare yourself with the best of the bests in the world of basketball “.

The EuroLeague – “There will be solid, hard games, where me and my teammates will have to be 100 percent prepared both mentally and physically. I will entrust to Pianigiani and all the other coaches that I know well. They will prepare the games down to the tiniest details. By following their directions everything will be a little bit easier. “

The role – “I will bring a lot of determination and the desire to bring the team to the win by doing the little things. With all the teams I played with, including the National Team, I have always tried to help my teammates, to create advantages for them on the court. I’m not a big statistic-guy, what I do is not appearing on my numbers but to me the only thing that matters is helping the team win. “

Pianigiani – “Simone, I think, has pushed a lot for me because he knows me well both as a player and as a person. From the very first moment we met, he realized what I could give to the team and appreciated my work.”

Internal Competition – “I’m not scared to play just  little, there will be many games, we will replace each other and as always there will be periods of good shape and periods of down. I want to make sure I’m ready right from the beginning and especially when the season will be decided, in order to help my teammates. “
