Milan Macvn made a winning tip-in as the time expired clinching a 77-75 win for Olimpia over Brindisi to advance to the semifinal game, on Saturday aginst Reggio Emilia. It was a close game after a promising first quarter. Olimpia missed 13 fouls shots and at one point also 15 consecutive three-pointers before Macvan made one with one minute to go. After it Olimpia led 75-73. Macvan in the end did a little bit of everythins: missed two free throws opening the door for Durand Scott’s tying floater with 4 seconds left. Finally, while Sanders looked for a foul in the last possession and McLean attempted a short desperate jumper, Macvan was in the perfect position to win the game. And he did. The instant-replay confirmed the decision.
