Mantas Kalnietis is not carrying the usual load with the Lithuanian National Team especially in scoring terms. So he had to produce just 12 points to be effective against Italy at Eurobasket. His partner in crime, Jusikevicius scored 20 points and made the difference allowing Lithuania to prevail 78-73. Kalnietis played 27 minutes and dished eight assists. Marco Cusin was the only Olimpia player to be used by Coach Ettore Messina. He had five points and four boards in 25 minutes. Both teams are 2-1 now and will return to the competition n Tuesday when Italy will face Germany and Lithuania will be opposed to Ukraine in a very competitive group.

Dairis Bertans and his Latvia team will resume play on Monday, at 1.15 against Great Britain.
