Arturas Gudaitis had a monster rebounding night against Gran Canaria, rewriting Olimpia’s record book in the process. His 17 rebounds were his new career-high (he had 13 this season, against Khimki) and the most ever for an Olimpia player. The previous record-holder was Travis Watson with 16 (twice). Gudaitis’ 10 offensive rebounds are also his new career-high and the team most ever: Watson was the record-holder with nine, taken in 2008 against le Mans. Gudaitis set his new career-highs in index rating (32), free throws made with 12 (one shy of Danilo Gallinari’s 13), free throws attempted with 14 (third ever in Olimpia’s history) and fouls drawn (10). It was Gudaitis’ fifth double double game. Now, he’s averaging 12.5 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game, he’s first in total rebounds and offensive rebounds.

More notes: Mike James has now 12 consecutive games with at least five assists; 15 consecutive games with at least one three; 18 straight games in double digit. His 26 points are the most in his Olimpia’s stay, the second best game ever for him after the 27 he made last year with Panathinaikos against Maccabi. Finally, Dairis Bertans is now one three shy of 100 triples for his career.
