Samardo Samuels turns 25 today. The Trelawny’s big man was born in a sprinters’ territory where Usain Bolt was born and grew up playing soccer and dreaming of soccer. Then he started playing basketball and was love at first sight. He was brought in the States and turned into a dominant big man by Coach Dan Hurley at St.Benedict and then Rick Pitino sent him to the NBA after a couple of years at Louisville. Once he made the dream of going head to head against his boyhood idol Tim Duncan true, he moved to Milan for a new challenge. Happy birthday man!
