After seven spectacular minutes (it led three times by 15 points), Olimpia had the strength to accept a blow-by-blow battle against Bayern and in the end was capable to win, 81-74, coming back in the fourth quarter from six down, early in the period. Olimpia won because the defense was great for the most part and all the players gave their contribute. Daniel Hackett had a superb all-around game (finishing with 16 points and 6 assists) but Joe Ragland made probably the most important three of the game and everybody was effective. Hackett closed the game from the line. Olimpia showed great character, had a fantastic approach to the game, was capable to fight until the end while showing the defensive consistency of the best days.
