Andrew Goudelock was in Milan during the last few days to take his physicals. He will be back on August 17th when the official training camp will start. Here’s the first of a three-part interview.

About Olimpia: “I am very excited, it is a great opportunity, the team is good, the coach, I know him because I played against his team in Jerusalem and I have great respect for him. The guys who came are great, they are talented, and I look forward to a great season. People on the outside looking in are expecting a great season from our roster. I always have great expectations and ambitions for myself individually but this season has to be a season to remember.”

About his game: “Many coaches, many teams knowing my scoring potential have tried to create problems to me, to be tough, to make fouls, I have been definitely a target of defenses. But I think I made strides in the last few years and today I feel like I’m a good defender. I have matured a lot, reading situations, in Fenerbahce Coach Obradovic taught me many things, reading situations, pick and rolls coverage, a lot of stuff, and what I learned in that year I brought it with me”.
