EA7 Emporio Armani is playing tomorrow in Bamberg for the Euroleague. Brose is coming off a big win over Efes. It’s the first time those two teams are facing each other in their histories. Kristjan Kangur and Angelo Gigli are not traveling with the team. Gani Lawal is still unavailable.

COACH BANCHI’S PRESENTATION

“The game is going to be a difficult one, we play against a team who won the German league for four straight season and has been constantly improving during Euroleague competition in the last few years. We consider this a crucial game for us in order to confirm the progresses we made lately and because we play against a team we’re competing against to get to the Top 16. Bamberg is coming off a big win over Efes so we expect a crowd and a team very excited. For us it’s essential to be able to contain their enthusiasm especially early in the game because against Efes they were able to raise the pace since the beginning. They’re the best team in Euroleague so far for three-pointers taken and for accuracy and besides they have inside the presence of Sharrod Ford who’s very well known in Italy and very mobile. For us it’s necessary to make a solid effort defensively and be consistent throughout the game to keep them from accelerate the tempo like they did against Efes”

KEITH LANGFORD’S OPINION

“Bamberg has been dominant in Germany the last few years so it’s going to be dangerous and we have to approach the game just like we do playing against the best teams in Europe. In order to get to the Top 16 this is a very crucial game. We are in the middle of a process to develop the team, every time we make strides but it’s a long process and no championships are won in November”
