Andrea Cinciarini’s energy and season-high in scoring led Olimpia (minus Kruno Simon) to a commanding win over Brescia 93-79. Olimpia played a very solid game with some inconsistency that allowed Brescia to stay close at times. But when Leonessa looked dangerous, Milano got away convincingly. Cinciarini scored 14 points, Kalnietis had six assists in 13 minutes, Sanders and Macvan were consistent, just like a dominating transition offense. The Italian Four had all a nice outing, with Fontecchio making threes, Abass attacking the boards and Pascolo giving the usual energy. Repesa at the end looked forward: “It’s time to think about the Italy Cup because it’s a very important goal for this season. We had some blackouts but overall it was a good game and at times we were very brilliant”.
