Olimpia found itself with the back to the wall and came out swinging, obtaining a commanding 87-66 road win over Trento. Olimpia got away in the middle of the first quarter and never looked back, playing with effort, attention to details, execution and defense. Trento tried to come back a couple of times, with a scoring spree by Diego Flaccadori in the second period and again with Aaron Craft late in the third. Olimpia took the hits and didn’t flinch. It was better across the floor, limited the turnovers, protected the ball better in spite of not having Kruno Simon available, in spite of foul troubles that plagued Jamel McLean and Kaleb Tarczewski, who fouled out in the third but was 4/4 from the field. Davide Pascolo had a terrific game, making 3 of 4 threes on his way to a game-leading 17 points.  Ricky Hickman had an excellent game scoring 16 points with 4 assists, and Milan Macvan playing as a nominal center for 21 of his 22 minutes on the court, used his low post game to kill Trento inside, scoring 12 points. But it was mostly a team effort, epithomized by Andrea Cinciarini’s 8 assists, a personal best with Olimpia.
