A defensive clinic was the key of the great Olimpia’s win in Sassari. Now the best-of-seven semifinal series will return to Milano with EA7 leading 3-1. Sassari’s explosive offense was held at 56 and Olimpia won in spite of some difficulties offensively and the foul trouble that plagued Daniel Hackett. EA7 led wire-to-wire, David Moss had a stellar defensive game over Drake Diener, held at 10 points with the help of a marvelous team effort. Samardo Samuels had a terrific first quarter inside and Gentile, with four consecutive points, along Keith Langford scored enough to keep the lead through the end. Game 5 is scheduled to be played on Saturday inside the Mediolanum Forum.
