Olimpia was solid again, defeated Efes 87-75 and conquered Lucca again

Olimpia had another solid game, defeated Efes 87-75 and conquered the Lucca tournament. It was another EuroLeague kind of game, in spite of the many players missing on both sides. Olimpia was tough defensively one more time, took the lead early in the first and never relinquished it. In the second half, Milan lead by more than 20 points. It was a good exam because Efes forced the team to face many different situations, including a zone 2-3 defense and an opponent who featured at times two centers and even two centers and Alec Peters playing at the small forward position. Olimpia responded well every single time. Kaleb Tarczewski had another dominating performance, scoring 16 points with 7-for-8 from the field and grabbed also eight rebounds. He was the only one who had to face regular EuroLeague high level opponent, like Dunston and the scoring machine Tibor Pleiss. Because of his play in two games, he was named the Tournament’s MVP. Four players scored in double figure, Vlado Micov had his best offensive game so far, on his way to score 16 points and Andrea Cinciarini found some holes in the Efes defense and was very efficient at exploiting them.
