Olimpia took care of business against Pesaro, with a dominating 111-74 win. Milan set its new Italian league season-high while Amedeo Della Valle had a career night in assists with nine and James Nunnally set the tone early by scoring 16 of his 25 points in the first six minutes. Olimpia elected to play without Mike James, but gave 12 minutes to Nemanja Nedovic, enough to allow him to record 4 assists, 4 rebounds, two steals and seven points. Curtis Jerrells was the only point-guard available, but both Della Valle and Vlado Micov did a great job of supporting him. “The guys showed once more their will to help in any roles and dealing with different line-ups”, Coach Pianigiani remarked. Simone Fontecchio had another convincing game with 18 points in a season-high 31 minutes, most of them at the 4-spot.
