Olimpia will launch the new EuroLeague season in Podgorica


Olimpia will have the honor to be the first to step on the court, along with Buducnost VOLI Podgorica, during the 2018/19 EuroLeague season. The schedule is to be released tomorrow but a sneak preview of Round 1 is already made available: Olimpia will play in Podgorica, Montenegro, on Thursday 11 October in the first EuroLeague game by the Adriatic League winning teamin 15 years and the first of the season. This is a historic game because it is also the first ever between the two teams.

Buducnost is coached by Aleksandar Dzikic who also returns to the EuroLeague after coaching in the past Olimpija Ljubljana and Rytas Vilnius: in 2011/12 in Vilnius he coached Nemanja Nedovic during his first experience abroad.
